why I am learning Japanese
I want to learn Japanese because I love watching anime and learning about languages in general. I found it challenging to adapt the hiragana alphabet after getting used to romaji. I'm excited to converse with native speakers and traveling to Japan with a semi-fluent Japanese lol.
You need to Benkyo-shimasu to converse with native speakers!!

ReplyDeleteありがとう!you're so sweet!
DeleteI hope we have a video project like most other languages at Columbia, so that I can see what kind of mini JDrama you'd make because your blog picture alone tells me you'd be very creative. I thought I'd never remember all the hiragana, but now I'm worried about that Katakana!
ReplyDeleteBest of luck in your studies this year. While there will be many opportunities for you to use your Japanese at Columbia, it's the mastery of the grammar which will allow you to understand the language best.
